NICKISHA N MATTHEWS

I was born in Washington D.C. I had a creative imagination as far back as the tender age of 7. In which, I was drawing cars that I felt would one day become a reality. At the age of 10 I worked on my first Apple computer and became fascinated. I have held an analytical and problem solving job for years. After owning an online store I learned some basic PHP and worked in c-panel to design my storefront I became interested in web design and development. In 2009 I decided it was time for a new career and why not in something I could design, develop on a computer since I already had experience doing so. Therefore, I went back to school at Florida State College of Jacksonville to pursue my Bachelors in Applied Science in Digital Media/Multimedia Technology. My imagination, curiosity and creativity mixed with my nerdy analytical mindset developed me into a Graphic Designer and Web Designer and Developer. Having appreciation for both the technical and design aspect of graphic and web design I deliver excellent pieces of art. My preferred programs are Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. I also have experience in photography, 3-D design, motion graphics, recording and video.
